Gavin Graduated to an Isolette!

During today's visit the nurse said she was going to put him in an isolette (open to the air). If he keeps up his temperature tonight then she is putting him in the 2nd stage nursery. Yay Gavin!!!! His nurse today was one of the nurses that took care of him after he was born and said wow....he is really growing and changing. We didn't weigh and give him a bath this time because he was going in his isolette and the nurse wants to keep him as warm as possible. I was able to hold him and feed him his bottle. The doctor changed the orders to give him only 10 mils by mouth because he is going into his isolette they don't want him to have to work too much and try to keep up his body temp. He sucked down that 10 mils sooooo fast....he is going to be a good eater! After his bottle he wanted more and was trying to eat his blanket so I gave him his soothie and he made a face like hey...there is no milk coming outta this thing. I never get tired of just watching him sleep...he is such a cutie with all the faces he makes. Here are the pics....

These were taken in his incubator right before we moved him to his isolette.

These are pics of him in his new isolette.
