I went to the doctor yesterday and finally met with Dr. Tucker for the first time. It was a quick visit. It was the first time my belly was measured. No ultrasound this visit....she just checked the heartbeat and said he sounds great. She talked about the AFP results and said that she agrees with Dr. Maher and believes it to be a false positive. She said there would have been signs in the ultrasound and they were perfectly normal. So I'm not gonna worry about it.....nice to know that two high risk doctors agree that its a false positive. They gave me the glucose orange drink to take while on my way to my next visit with them. I have to chug it within 5 minutes and have to be tested within an hour of drinking it. They said it tastes horrible and I'm not allowed to drink water or anything afterwards.
When I was getting checked in the nurse asked me what I was having and I told her a boy. She asked what we were gonna name him so I said Drake and she said "Oh...thats my sons name..Jake". Hahahahahhaha I knew if we went with Drake it would get mixed up with Jake and she don't even know my nephew Jake. hahahaha. We have also been thinking about Gavin...I brought the name up a while back and Ben said no but then he called me the other day from work and said he is liking the name Gavin now because he looked up the origin and its a medieval name. He is so crazy! hahaha Feel free to put some names up for us to look over!

Elmer comes to mind....
Glad things are well and that this doctor reassured you on the false positive. Very good thing!! YEAH!!!
Names...Emerson is a great name I think for a boy-call him Son for short.
Boo! Jess can you post on here how to spell your condition.. No, not pregnant, the other one? I am going nuts because I want to research stuff but don't know how to spell it!
My disorder is called dysautonomia. A good site is www.potsplace.com. My specialist, Dr. Thompson is listed on that site. Another site is http://ndrf.org ...I found this one out by watching mystery diagnosis...the lady that was featured on there developed the site. The kind of dysautonomia I have is called POTS....postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.
Elmer! lmao Nooooo! I kinda like Emerson...a name you don't hear all the time. Reminds me of you nickname Emmy! hhhmmmm hahaha I'll have to see what Ben says about it. Katie wants us to name him Ethan. Whats up with all the E-names? :-)~
